Matree-D

these are some attempts at designing the matree-d. Gonna clean-up and build a working model today. *untill i get the urge to play wii for like 15 hours straight.

More background stuff...

I screwed around with a few things from the 1st attept. I didn't like the black lines on the original, so I colored the lines and changed the floor, and put some reflections in... and textured the walls a bit more. I also ditched the detail on the stuff in the dining room. This new background will allow the characters to stand out more, because they have a black line around them.

Background Update

So I fianally got around to whipping up a background for this short i'm doing. This is the restaraunt lobby. I threw in some furhairman portraits on the walls along with a pic of "ten second statue". I may change the colors, but this is the winner for now. Here is the rough sketch, and the clean final.

life painting

Here are some lifedrawing paintings from the summer. I had been neglecting the blog, so I thought i'd put em up. It was my 1st attempt at life painting. Usually I just use charcoal and chalk, but these are watercolor. These were 30 min. poses.

New Design

So this is the new design for the pregnant girl. As much as I liked the ragged tired look of the original design, this one leaves more room for facial expressions. ...more to come
